Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Sentry Modder mobile app (the "App") developed by Lior Boyango (the "Developer"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility & Your Vehicle
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the App. You may only connect and control a vehicle that you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for all activity performed through your account.
2. What the App Does
The App connects to your Tesla account through Tesla's API to monitor Sentry Mode and, based on your settings, send notifications and/or trigger vehicle actions such as flashing the lights, honking the horn, playing a sound, and turning Sentry Mode on or off. The App depends on third-party services (including Tesla's API), network connectivity, and your vehicle's availability, and it may not operate in real time, or at all, if those are unavailable.
3. Not Affiliated with Tesla
The App is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" and related names and logos are trademarks of Tesla, Inc. Your use of the Tesla API is also subject to Tesla's own terms.
4. Your Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of features such as honking the horn, playing sounds, and flashing the lights complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including local noise, nuisance, and traffic ordinances. You may not:
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Connect to or control a vehicle you are not authorized to use
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, copy, modify, distribute, or resell the App or its content, except as permitted by law
• Transmit malicious code or infringe the rights of others
5. License
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of the data and settings you provide. You grant the Developer only the limited rights necessary to operate and provide the App — for example, to store your settings and communicate with the Tesla API on your behalf. Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Subscriptions & Purchases
Some features require a paid subscription or in-app purchase, processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (through RevenueCat). Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and refunds are handled by the applicable app store.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT SENTRY MODE EVENTS WILL ALWAYS BE DETECTED, OR THAT NOTIFICATIONS OR VEHICLE COMMANDS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED OR EXECUTED. THE APP IS NOT A SECURITY SYSTEM AND MUST NOT BE RELIED UPON AS ONE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, VEHICLE DAMAGE, THEFT, FINES, OR BATTERY DRAIN, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP. THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
10. Termination
The Developer may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your data at any time from within the App.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and on our website, with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements. Section headings are for convenience only.
